Seriously. I'm not that hard to please. I'll take pretty much any book: kids' books, young adult books, memoirs, novels, cookbooks, poetry books. I love to read and there is nothing better than immersing myself in a story.
My girlfriends and I recently started a book club, and we read a different book each month. Our first book was a Chelsea Handler comedy, which I really enjoyed. (I didn't read the book for the second month, so I can't tell you what it was...I'm a bad book club member sometimes.)
Other than that, I haven't done much reading lately. I listened to Anne Lamott's Grace, Eventually on tape, and absolutely adored it. I loved it so much that I listened to it twice. I am now reading a Del Shannon's Kevin's Point of View. It's a young adult novel, but I am really enjoying it; I keep getting lost in the story (in a good way) and can't wait to see where it all goes.
I'm done with school tomorrow (woot!) and have two glorious weeks off; I plan to cook, bake, play a Harry Potter video game (NERD, I know...), and read. I have cookies and brownies lined up for the baking, several meals planned for the cooking, my husband has the video game set to go, but I have no books planned for reading!
I need your help....What books should I read over break? (Please don't say Twilight. The answer is no.)
