A Week for the Books

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

I have so much to tell you about!

But first, I hope you had a fabulous 4th of July and that no one lost an eye shooting off bottle rockets.

Assuming you have both your eyes, let’s proceed.

I’ve spent the last week with a group of 16 people, doing construction work down in Galveston, Texas. Of those 16 people, 2 of them were Jason and I, 2 were camp staff, and 12 were our darling little high school students.

They’re precious.

I mean it.

I don’t say “precious” in a sarcastic way, like I do when I’m talking about babies. (“Oh, it’s so precious how your baby won’t stop screaming every time you leave the room!”)

I really do mean it when it comes to these 12 high schoolers.

We worked.

We played.

We cooked.

We had great conversations.

This last week was about as precious as it gets, my friends.
I hope your week was just as good!
Catching up?
