As I hinted at yesterday, I am so pleased to announce that I’ll be teaching my first cooking class ever on the 23rd of this month! I’ll be teaching at the beautiful Stir Cooking School (check out more photos of Stir and my original post on it here.) Are you jumping up and down with excitement yet? No? Well then, allow me to elaborate and maybe I can get at least a half-hearted arm pump out of you. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Who: Anyone interested in learning more about cooking, grocery shopping, and meal planning.

What: Blackboard Kitchen cooking class. We’ll talk about menu planning, saving money at the grocery store, saving time at home, and meal preparation. We’ll be making (and eating!) four meals that you’ll be able to recreate at home for your adoring family. The menu is a typical weekly menu here at Blackboard Kitchen: four meals for $60 that are light on your wallet, pleasant on your tastebuds, and gentle on the waistline.

The menu for the class? Chicken cashew stir-fry, creamy tomato pasta with garlic bread, chicken caesar salad, and cheesy veggie calzones. You’ll be masters at these dishes by the time the class is done! ๐Ÿ™‚

Where: The fabulous Stir, located at 3215 Zuni Street, Denver

When: Sunday, January 23rd at 2pm. Class will run about three hours.
