The Last Day of 2010

December 31, 2010 in The Daily Blog

It sounds so ominous, doesn’t it?! Makes me feel like I need to be super productive and have a fabulous day to properly commemorate the final day of a fabulous year.

There’s so much great stuff that happened this year (a lot of not-so-great stuff that happened, too) and I feel truly thankful to be here, ready to welcome in 2011.

We’ll be getting stuff done all day – a little dusting and vacuuming, plus possibly taking down the Christmas tree (I can’t make up my mind! To leave it up or not leave it up…that is the question) in the morning, then a late lunch out on the snowy town, errands, naps, showers, then I’m in the kitchen to get everything ready to go for tonight. We’re having a casual little soiree with a few friends whom we don’t get to see very often. So I suppose the last day of the year will be productive and pretty great.

What are you doing this evening? And, should we leave up the tree? Or let it go?

Happy New Year!
