Thankful Friday

November 26, 2010 in The Daily Blog

Are you out shopping today? If so, can you pick me up a few sale items? ;)

We are not Black Friday shoppers…instead, we’ll spend the day on part two of our secret mission, then we’ll be with family again tonight. Thus, it is Thankful Friday, and the last day in our week of thankfulness (although, I’ll totally continue being thankful for these after this week)! (See day 1 here, day 2 here, day 3 here, and day 4 here.)

Today, I am thankful for…

1. Amazing bloody marys (made by my master mixologist, Jason), with which we started off the day yesterday. More to come on these bad boys soon….

2. Thanksgiving stuffing, which I made for the first time (ever!) yesterday (I’ll give the recipe soon!).

3. The best deviled eggs I’ve ever had (made by my sister, obviously).

4. An absolutely fabulous meal that my mom, dad, sister, husband, and I all worked together to create.

5. Homemade apple pie (made by my mama).

6. But mostly, I’m thankful for my family and my friends, whom I am so blessed by. I love holidays and the chance to celebrate and eat together. I hope you all had a wonderful week! See you back here tomorrow for a grocery list and menu!

Love this post! Truly blessed to be so thankful. Also, those Bloody Mary’s look fantastic.
